Report: 49ers, McCaffrey agree to two-year contract extension worth $19M per season

The San Francisco 49ers have made Christian McCaffrey the highest paid running back in the NFL, agreeing to a $38-million contract extension, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports.
McCaffrey was set to become a free agent at the end of the 2025 season and is now slated to remain in San Francisco until 2027.
