Breaking: Jay-Z, Michael Rubin arrive for Commanders game, get trolled by this former Cowboy after loss…..Read More
The NFC East battle between the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders brought in some big names today, especially on the home team side.
Music mogul Jay-Z, rapper Cordae and businessman Michael Rubin were the big names of the Commanders supporters today. Even Cowboys edge rusher Micah Parsons had to chop it up with Jay-Z before the game.
But you know who was there to crash the party? The beloved former receiver of America’s Team, Dez Bryant. Despite having a messy departure from the team, Bryant has remained a fan of the organization, frequently goes to games and crashes fans’ tailgates
Middle fingers, upset faces and eye rolls while Bryant is cheesing from cheek to cheek. Yes I’m a Cowboys fan and yes I miss having Dez.
It was absolute mayhem in the fourth quarter. After only scoring three points in the first half, the Cowboys erupted with 24 points alone in the fourth – a successful field goal attempt by Brandon Aubrey, a passing-touchdown from Cooper Rush and two TD from returns by KaVonae Turpin and Juanyeh Thomas.
Jayden Daniels late game heroics were not enough. Despite connected with Terry McLaurin on a 86-yard TD, a missed PAT stopped the Commanders from tying the game. The sudden TD-return from Thomas iced the game 34-26. Daniels finished the day completing 25/38 for 275 yards, two TDS, two INTS, 74 rushing yards and a rushing-TD. Rush went 24-for-32, 247 yards and two TDS.
The Commanders, who originally started the season 7-2, have now lost three in a row (7-5). This is also the Commanders’ third straight loss to the Cowboys.
