The Princess of Wales will make a major appearance next week alongside Prince William.

The Princess of Wales is set to make a new appearance next week, Buckingham Palace has announced.

Princess Kate will join Prince William next Tuesday, December 3, to greet The Amir of the State of Qatar and Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani, at their residence in London, on behalf of King Charles.

They will then travel with them to Horse Guards Parade, where The Amir and Sheikha Jawaher will receive a Ceremonial Welcome before being formally welcomed by the King and Queen at the Royal Pavilion on Horse Guards Parade.

Following the presentations, the Guard of Honour will give a Royal Salute and the Qatari National Anthem will be played. The monarch will accompany the Amir as he inspects the Guard of Honour, formed of the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards , with the Band of the Regiment.

Kate will then join her husband, the King and Queen, a well as the Amir and Sheikha Jawaher, in a carriage procession along The Mall to Buckingham Palace, where they will be met by a second Guard of Honour formed of 1st Battalion Welsh Guards with the Band of the Irish Guards, who will play the Qatari and British National Anthems.

The Qatari royals will then enjoy lunch at Buckingham Palace before attending a special exhibition in the Picture Gallery of items from the Royal Collection Trust and Turquoise Mountain Foundation relating to Qatar.

In the afternoon, they will visit Westminster Abbey, where they will take a tour of the Abbey, accompanied by the Dean of Westminster and the Chapter.

Their next stop will be the Palace of Westminster where he will be greeted on arrival by Black Rod, the Lord Great Chamberlain, the Speaker of the House of Commons and the Lord Speaker.

In the Royal Robing Room, the Amir will address gathered Parliamentarians and other invited guests before joining a reception with Members of the House of Lords and Members of Parliament.
