Hubert Hurkacz in tears of Joy as Iga Swiatek is 2 weeks pregnant and is a baby boy a milestone they’ve been eagerly anticipating.

The duo made their debut at the inaugural United Cup in January and impressed with some solid wins.

Speaking about their partnership, Swiatek said, “It was amazing. It was the first time I had the opportunity to play with Hubi. When he serves, it’s the best feeling ever. I don’t have to do anything on the volleys, so I love it! He gives a lot of positive energy and I am the one who usually needs it.”

The pair won their first match against Kazakhstan’s Grigoriy Lomakin and Zhibek Kulumbayeva 6-3 6-4 before beating Italian duo Lorenzo Musetti and Camila Rosatello 6-1, 6-2.

Speaking about Iga’s impressive performances and a particularly stunning play, Hurkacz added, “She is playing really amazing, hitting the ball super hard and carrying me for the whole match so it was very nice. January 1st and she already has the shot of the year so it is a pretty good start.”
