Prince William confessed that he and Kate allow their spaniel, Orla, to snuggle up in bed with them at night
Kate Middleton and Prince William may live a somewhat extraordinary life, but in many respects, they are just like any other couple – especially when it comes to their sleeping habits. The Prince of Wales paid a visit to Duchy College Stoke Climsland in Callington, Cornwall, during which he made a very private confession: that he and the Princess of Wales allow their cocker spaniel puppy, Orla, to share their bed at night.
Louisa Harland, who met the Prince during his tour of the College’s animal management department, told Hits Radio Cornwall that William was ‘absolutely in love with my little dog. Just like the rest of the royals (and most of the aristocracy, in fact) the Prince and Princess of Wales are devoted dog lovers, and Orla has been a part of the Wales family for several years now – although her royal connections go back even further. In May 2020, James Middleton announced that his dog, Luna, had welcomed puppies. At the time, he wrote on Instagram that they all had ‘lovely homes waiting for them’, and it would soon transpire that one of those homes was that of his sister and her family.
