Interesting: Harry branded naive for letting himself be controlled by ‘manipulative’ Meghan Markle: ‘He’s a lamb going to the slaughterhouse… Read More
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have struggled for success since relocating to California in 2020
The ex-chief editor of Vanity Fair has slammed Meghan Markle as “manipulative” and full of “cr*p” ideas as she also hits out at her husband, the Duke of Sussex, by saying he is “blindly” following the former actress “like a child”.
The Suits star has been married to Prince Harry since 2018 and together they made the decision to quit the British Royal Family and relocate to California, where they have struggled to meet expected levels of success.
According to Tina Brown, that’s not from misfortune either as the seasoned journalist accuses Markle of leading the couple, and their two children, down the wrong path whilst her 40-year-old husband does little to stop her.
“The trouble with Meghan is that she has the worst judgment of anyone in the entire world,” Brown told The Ankler podcast. “She’s flawless about getting it all wrong. All of her ideas are total c**p, unfortunately.
“[Harry is] the lamb to the slaughter in this situation. And he just sort of blindly followed her like a child, really.”
Following their decision to quit and head to the United States, relations between Harry and his family have completely deteriorated with very few members willing to acknowledge, listen, or respect the youngest son of King Charles III.
That particularly comes following an explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021 before Prince Harry’s 2023 memoir only managed to make things worse by spilling confidential, behind-closed-doors information.
Brown says fragility reason why Harry quit Royals
On paper, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quit the British Royal Family so that they could escape the media and negative headlines, particularly centered around the Duchess, or at least ignore them.
It’s said that the mother-of-two began battling mental health problems whilst in the United Kingdom, but according to Brown that is simply the public narrative rather than the Duke’s personal motives.
“He was so fragile,” Brown said of Prince Harry in 2022. “So combustible. He was so unhappy, frankly, in the constraints of the Royal Family.”
