Least Update: Packers president/CEO Mark Murphy to be inducted into Packers Hall of Fame…. Check In

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – The Green Bay Packers’ outgoing president and CEO is about to have a permanent presence at Lambeau Field in the Hall of Fame.

The Packers organization announced Monday that Mark Murphy will be inducted at the 54th Hall of Fame Induction Banquet on August 28, 2025. Ticket information for the banquet will be announced in the near future.

He’ll be the 171st individual inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame.

This is Murphy’s 17th and final season as head of the Packers organization.

During his tenure, the team made a total 12 playoff trips, including 8 straight — a record for the club — with five NFC title games and a Super Bowl victory.

Murphy also spearheaded the Titletown development, which officially opened in 2017, with the 4-star Lodge Kohler hotel, Microsoft’s TitletownTech, offices, condominiums, year-round entertainment, a football-themed playground and playing field, and food and beverages.

The Packers have also invested more than $600 million in Lambeau Field, without public tax money, renovating player and coach facilities and improving the fan experience.

Murphy is believed to be the first person to have Super Bowl wins as a player, with Washington in 1982, and a CEO, with Green Bay in 2010.

Before coming to Green Bay, Murphy played 8 years for Washington, was an assistant executive director for the NFL Players Association, worked as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, and spent 16 years as director of athletics at Colgate and Northwestern universities.

Murphy officially retires in July, a month before his induction, when he turns 70.
