Blake Lively, the star of It Ends with Us, set the internet abuzz on Monday, July 22, by posting a photo from the set of her husband Ryan Reynolds’ highly anticipated film, Deadpool & Wolverine, which hits theaters this week.
In the professional photo, Lively kisses Reynolds, who is fully decked out in his Deadpool costume, while she wears a top and arm warmer in a matching red shade.
As the release date for Deadpool & Wolverine approaches, rumors about a female variant of Deadpool have intensified. Speculation began with a teaser released in June, which featured a pair of legs in a suit similar to Deadpool’s.
“I’m about to lose everything that I’ve ever cared about,” were the words spoken in Reynolds’ voiceover.
In the final trailer, a mysterious figure with blonde hair and a red-and-black suit, matching Deadpool’s, further fueled the rumors.
