Donna Kelce has opened up on her marriage with ex-husband Ed Kelce and bringing up Jason and Travis Kelce

The mother of NFL icons Travis and Jason Kelce has opened up on her former marriage as well as her approach to motherhood while bringing up her future football star sons

Donna Kelce, mother of NFL legends Travis and Jason, has revealed that she stayed together with her ex-husband for the sake of their future football star children.

The game’s most famous sibling duo are famously close, maintaining the bond they had as youngsters growing up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, into adulthood. The pair went on to play for rival teams in the NFL, even coming up against each other in the Super Bowl back in the 2022 season.

Elder brother Jason already triumphed in the showpiece in 2017 but it was Travis who was celebrating as they faced off in the NFL’s most storied game – with the Kansas City Chiefs earning a 38-35 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Now, the duo’s mom has opened up on the steps she took to ensure that the siblings enjoyed a “normal” childhood during their formative years.

She said: “My husband and I knew that our marriage was not working, but we stayed together for the kids.
