Diddy was arrested in September on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.

Sean Diddy Combs has been in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons in the recent past. Apart from the mounting sexual assault allegations and trafficking charges, the hip-hop mogul’s relationship with Justin Bieber has also come under scrutiny. Back when Justin was just entering the limelight at 15, Diddy reportedly stepped in as a mentor for him. This connection was made possible through Justin’s ties with Usher who was also working with Diddy at the time.

Diddy faced arrest in September on charges of sex trafficking which he strongly denied and has pleaded not guilty to. While neither Justin nor Usher are implicated in these claims, the fallout has caused many to reassess Diddy’s relationships with young stars. Former Playboy model Precious Muir, who reportedly frequented Diddy’s infamous parties, shared her concerns with The Mirror US, saying Justin should have been “protected” from such influences.

Reflecting on Justin’s early years, Precious suggested his parents “should have been present at all times,” given that he was so young and new to the industry.

Reports have surfaced that other minors were also seen at Diddy’s gatherings. Precious recalled an unsettling memory of seeing young people at one of Diddy’s daytime White Parties, emphasising her view that parents had no business leaving their kids unsupervised with him.

There’s no way their parents should have left their children with this man by themselves. The parents should have been present. I don’t know why they weren’t there to protect their child,” she said.

Precious then claimed that no one in Diddy’s circle would likely question his actions, adding, “Nobody around Diddy is going to say, ‘No, you can’t do that.’ So you need to be there to protect your child.” She went on to express her confusion about why some parents would drop their children off at what she describes as a “camp,” later referred to as the “Flavor Camp” by Usher, reports The Mirror US.

Flavor Camp was a term Usher used to describe his own experience staying with Diddy after LA Reid signed him to LaFace Records in 1994.

In Precious’s opinion, if parents couldn’t present themselves, then a manager or guardian should have been involved to look after young artists. “You get so many young stars who grow up in the industry and become crazy,” she explained, noting the toll early fame can have on children. “They’re not even functioning as adults because of what abuse they went through when they were children when they were child stars. And that is because they didn’t have the support of somebody, a parent, a guardian, somebody who is going to be on their side to protect them,” she added.

She reiterated that Diddy is not accused of any misconduct toward Justin, yet she warns of the broader risks. According to her, Diddy is “very good at convincing people to do things that they probably didn’t want to do,” though, once again, she emphasises no accusations have been made about his behaviour toward Justin.
