Lady Gaga couldn’t be more thrilled by the reception of her new single “Disease.”

In an Instagram post shared on Sunday, Oct. 27, the pop star, 38, expressed how “grateful and overwhelmed” she was by her fans’ love for her new song,

“I honestly am trying to find the right words to say–I have been so excited to release my new music and to see all the monsters come alive and dance and perform and smile and cry is such an insane joy,” Gaga began.

She continued: “I’m so grateful and overwhelmed at your love for Disease. Keep dancing.”

Gaga then noted that “there’s a LOT more to come.”

“I haven’t seen our community like this in a very long time. Thank you for coming on this ride w me all these years and still showing up for the music also…happy Halloween,” she concluded.

Last week, Gaga shared a visual teaser on Instagram for “Disease,” the lead single of LG7.

DISEASE 10.25,” she captioned the clip, which showcases a raven-haired Gaga running away from a car following her through suburbia.

From the way it’s filmed, the audience is positioned inside the vehicle following the “Bad Romance” singer in the teaser.

The brief visual featured a snippet of the track — a few ominous piano notes with some percussion.

Gaga first announced that “Disease” would arrive on Friday, Oct. 25 in an Instagram post on Monday, Oct. 21 that featured a poster of her in the same white dress seen in the teaser, but leaning over the hood of a car as if she’d been hit by one.

“Disease” is the first taste of the “Applause” musician’s highly anticipated seventh album.

Last month, Gaga released Harlequin, a companion album to Joker: Folie à Deux, which she referred to as “LG 6.5.”

The LP largely features covers, aside from two original tracks — “Happy Mistake” and “Folie à Deux.” For Harlequin, Gaga collaborated with fiancé Michael Polansky, who served as a co-executive producer on the project. Additionally, the couple are also co-writers on four tracks: “Good Morning,” “Get Happy,” “Oh, When the Saints” and “If My Friends Could See Me Now.”
