Fresh off the Kansas City Chiefs’ 26-13 victory over the New Orleans Saints on Monday night, reigning Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes decided to blow off some steam by catching the Kansas City Royals in action on Wednesday night.

Mahomes attended the Royals’ Game 3 matchup against the New York Yankees at Kauffman Stadium as the two teams entered the game tied 1-1 in their Division Series. Unfortunately for the Royals, it was the Yankees who secured a big win, 3-2, to take a 2-1 series lead heading into Game 4 on Thursday.

Despite the loss, however, Mahomes still had some fun as he soaked in the action with his wife, Brittany Mahomes. Jackson Mahomes was also in attendance, and it was the Chiefs quarterback’s younger brother who shared a cool photo of the two Mahomeses during the game.

Jackson Mahomes, 24, is a star in his own right, which is why it’s not surprising that his post immediately turned heads on social media. So much so that even their own mother, Randi Mahomes, could not help but comment on the photo

For her part, however, seeing her two sons together prompted an emotional five-word admission from the Mahomes family matriarch.

“I miss y’all so much!!” she wrote, while also commending the “great pic” posted by Jackson Mahomes.

Now that both of her sons are grown men pursuing their respective careers, Randi Mahomes isn’t able to spend as much time as she would want with her kids. It is unclear when Patrick and Jackson last spent some quality time with their mother, but it appears that this public admission from Mom is a bit of a subtle plea for a Mahomes family reunion.

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are entering a bye week, which should give him some extra time on his hands. Perhaps a meet-up with his mom could be in the books in the near future.
