Breaking News: Taylor Swift Is Travis Kelce’s Biggest Cheerleader in a Crushed Velvet Set…. Read More
Her look included some hidden messages about her past eras
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are making the most of their time together during Kelce’s week off from football.
After stepping out in New York City for a star-studded double date on Friday evening, the couple ventured out on Saturday night to grab dinner at Torrisi restaurant. They arrived hand-in-hand, and once again, Swift left quite the impression with her look.
For their second date of the weekend, the “Fortnight” singer opted for a chartreuse, crushed velvet set by Annie’s Ibiza. Her ensemble included a fitted corset top and a matching pleated mini skirt—proving that even sartorially, she’s Kelce’s biggest cheerleader.
The corseted look fit right in with Swift’s current style, although it did contain some Easter eggs about which one of her eras might come next. The musician has previously worn Annie’s Ibiza before—slipping into a navy, sequined minidress during her Midnights era—and it’s worth noting that the official name of her set is “Ivy,” which nods to Swift’s Evermore song of the same name. Knowing the artist, each move is intentional, but it’s unclear what they allude to.
Her accessories brought in more clues (and more confusion as to what they were hinting at). Swift elevated her outfit with a pair of towering Aevitas Platform Mules from Versace, which boasted gold charms that matched her velvet set. Over her shoulder, she carried a Mirror Snake bag from Roberto Cavalli—perhaps nodding to her Reputation era—while a gold collar chain, gold T-bar necklace, and dangling gold earrings brought some sparkle to her ensemble.
Swift wore her hair down in effortless waves, swiping her bangs to one side. Naturally, she completed her look with her signature red lip and winged eyeliner. She held hands with Kelce as they entered the restaurant, and he looked dapper himself in a knit blue polo from Marni and a pair of khaki cargo pants. We wonder what era he’s in…
