After traversing the globe for nearly a year and a half, Taylor Swift is nearing the end of her Eras concert tour.
During the tour’s international run, Swift also released a new album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” which earned her six Grammy Award nominations, and attended 18 Kansas City Chiefs games to cheer on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
The 34-year-old pop star kicked off the Canadian leg of her Eras tour in Toronto on Nov. 14. After three consecutive shows, she has a four-day break before returning to the Rogers Centre for another three performances.
During Night 3 of her sold-out show, the “Champagne Problems” singer addressed how the Eras tour was soon coming to a close, a top which continuously brings tears to her eyes. On Saturday night, she shared a candid message with the fans in attendance.
We only have 6 shows left that we get to play together after this. I know when we have sad moments or hard times or when we are having a rough day, like we are gonna think back on memories from this tour.
And I just want you to let you know that Toronto on a Saturday night is going to be replaying in our memories. Thank you.”
Practically everyone who’s attended Swift’s three-and-a-half hour show has described the experience as a mind-blowing, joy-filled event. For fans to hear it’s just as meaningful for her, Swifties felt som kind of way.
One fan commented, “STOP IM GONNA CRY AND PUKE AT THE SAME TIME .” Another person posted, “Taylor’s reflection on the tour ending is heartfelt. These moments will always stay with her, reminding her of the journey’s magic.”
During the tour’s break, fans hope to catch Swift at Highmark Stadium on Sunday for the Chiefs’ highly-anticipated matchup against the Buffalo Bills on Nov. 17.
Swift is just a quick hopper flight away from Western, New York, so the location is highly convenient. However, for a woman who flew halfway across the world from Tokyo to Las Vegas to catch the 2024 Super Bowl, distance has never been an issue for Swift.
