Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are taking a different approach to overhaul their struggling image, according to a royal commentator.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly in the midst of a professional separation, with recent reports suggesting that their work relationship is “in a very bad state.”

In a desperate bid to get their public image back on track, the duo have opted for an “experimental” PR route that sees them undertake public appearances solo, according to royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams.

This is obviously a new tactic. As in every brand the Sussexes want to promote their brand as best as they can,” Fitzwilliams told GB News.

“They have tried something that has worked with the so-called royal tours of Nigeria and Colombia. Then we have got the solo engagements, so they are experimenting.”

Indeed, over the last few months both Harry, 40, and the “Suits” alum, 43, have been seen attending various events solo.

Harry this week attended a string of Invictus Games-related events in Vancouver, Canada, while Markle was seen joining her celebrity pals at a beauty launch event sans her husband.

The pair did, however, appear in a joint video in honor of Veteran’s Day earlier this month — with Harry admitting the pair had been “at a crossroads” with work in recent weeks.

In their joint video appearance, the pair discussed prioritizing children’s safety online through their Archewell Foundation. It was the first time they were seen together in months.

There is no question that when it comes to Invictus and the personal touch, this does work, it definitely works with Harry,” Fitzwilliams went on.

“Clearly, they are finding that going solo works well at the moment. It depends on what their aim is, Harry has got his Polo series coming out soon.”

The Post has reached out to reps for the Sussexes for comment.

The pair are expected to attend the 2025 Invictus Games in Canada, which will take place from Feb. 8 to Feb. 16. The event comes 18 months after the 2023 event held in Germany.

At last year’s games, Markle hinted that the pair will bring their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to the next event.
