Remember when Simone Biles blew us all away at the 2024 Paris Olympics? At 27, she wasn’t just back on the mat—she was on a mission. Call it the Redemption Tour, call it her third act, or just call it classic Simone, she shut down the doubters and walked away with four more shiny medals for the collection. But the moment she hit U.S. soil? She didn’t miss a beat. From courtside vibes at the US Open to hyping NFL games, Simone’s calendar stayed packed. Oh, and let’s not forget her second round of the epic Gold Over America Tour—a gymnastics celebration-slash concert that hit 30 cities and brought fans to their feet. But even while crisscrossing the country, she made time for her MVP off the mat: her husband, Jonathan Owens.

The NFL safety for the Chicago Bears got plenty of love, from her cheering him on at games to their cute-as-ever date nights. (And don’t worry, he returned the favor—relationship goals, anyone?) Now, with the Bears gearing up to face the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday, November 24, Simone’s tackling something new—an opportunity that’s not just exciting but screams Texas pride.

The gymnast and her beau found it difficult to find personal time due to their busy schedules. However, as they looked forward to making up for lost time, the Olympian might have to take a little detour. Why’s that, you ask? Well, the 2024 Country Music Association Awards are right around the corner. While the biggest names in Nashville look forward to bagging new hardware, Simone Biles has been bestowed with a special responsibility! She will be one of the presenters at the prestigious event.

The 58th edition of the awards show will take place on November 20 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. However, the 7x Olympic medalist is the only presenter. She will join Jeff Bridges, Freddie Freeman, Don Johnson, Billy Bob Thornton, Taylor Frankie Paul, and more at the CMAs. The event will be hosted by Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning and CMA Entertainers of the Year Lainey Wilson and Luke Bryan.

However, last month, Simone Biles got to be a part of something fun because of Jonathan Biles. What do you get when you pair America’s most-awarded wine brand, ‘Barefoot’, with the most decorated gymnast in history? It is an exciting little contest! That’s right. The brand’s official Instagram account shared the rules of the collab with a fun video of the gymnast with a glass of wine in her hand. The partnership was an extension of the brand’s Bandwagon Box Program, which they launched in 2023.

The gymnast may be married to the Chicago Bear’s safety. Yet she struggles with understanding the sport. But this was a fun opportunity to bring in more NFL fans to the games and encourage them to do fun food pairings or tastings. Additionally, the lucky winner had the chance to enjoy the Chicago Bears vs. Green Packers game on November 17 in the BandWAgon Box with the G.O.A.T. Speaking of which, will the gymnast show up to more games?

The Olympian has to balance two important duties

After drawing the curtains on yet another successful edition of the GOAT, the duo met up for a special date night. Before this, Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens were in a long-distance marriage. This is something that bore heavily on the gymnast’s mind. She previously proclaimed how it isn’t easy. However, that doesn’t change the fact that she is incredibly proud of her husband and everything he’s done in the NFL so far.

But when their stars aligned, the duo reunited on November 9. The Olympian shared images from their romantic dinner on her Instagram stories. Donning matching all-black attires, she playfully hid Owens’ eyes with a sticker captioned, “For Cupid’s eyes ONLY.” Yet, this was one of the many instances they took out time for each other.

While he played the role of the supportive beau in the French capital, she’s 7x Olympic gold medalist who took on that role several times once they returned to the States. But now that Simone Biles has to show up to the CMA’s, changes are her schedule might get just a little busier. Why’s that, you ask? The Chicago Bears will take on a familiar four in Week 12 of the NFL. Minnesota Vikings will pay Soldier Field a visit on November 24. Will the gymnast be able to make it?

While we might have to wait to find out, the 27-year-old always slays her gameday looks. On November 17, the Chicago Bears locked horns with Owens’ former team, the Green Bay Packers. So what did the gymnast do? She showed up in a custom black and orange leather varsity jacket featuring the Bears logo on one side and his name and uniform number, 36, stitched on the back. Unfortunately, they lost the game 20-19. While it will be a treat to watch the Olympian on the stage at the CMA’s, fans probably can’t wait to see her in the stands at Soldier Field too.
