Thank you to everyone who came out and supported this journey after the success we had in Paris,” Biles captioned the Instagram post

To close out a stellar 2024, Simone Biles recently marked the end of her successful GOAT Tour and thanked her fans for their support.

In a post on Instagram chronicling highlights from the tour, which also featured fellow Olympic gold medalists Jordan Chiles and Hezly Rivera, Biles offered up a heartfelt message of her “ journey” this year.

“7 weeks, countless memories, and endless gratitude. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported this journey after the success we had in Paris Your energy and love fuel everything I do. Forever thankful, forever inspired. STAY GOLDEN,” the 7-time Olympic gold medalist captioned the post on Monday, Nov. 18.

Biles has documented every step of the tour, including backstage snapshots, photos with fellow members of Team USA and the multiple visits from her husband, Chicago Bears player Jonathan Owens.

The Gold Over America Tour ended earlier this month on Nov. 3 in Detroit — and shortly after the 27-year-old Olympian posted a series of photos documenting the tour and also added a series of photos of herself crying, as she declared the last show to be “bittersweet.”

Telling PEOPLE at the start of the tour in September that she was “excited” following a few short weeks off after the Paris Olympics, Biles has remained mum about what’s next for her — and if she’ll stay in gymnastics to try and make the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.

After winning gold in the vault final at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Biles demurred about her L.A. plans.

“This is my last, definitely Yurchenko double pike [vault]. I mean I kind of nailed that one. So never say never,” she told reporters. “The home Games — the next Olympics is at home, so you just never know. But I am getting really old.”

And Biles’ husband said he’s on board with whatever she decides.

“If she feels like it is time to focus on life… because when you are locked in, you do have to sacrifice a lot and you do miss a lot,” Owens told PEOPLE in August.

That’s the one thing that she would just have to figure out for herself. And like I said, man, I’m here to support her a thousand percent and whatever she decides to do,” he added.

Up next, fans can catch Biles on the small screen, as she was recently announced as a presenter for the 2024 CMA Awards airing on Wednesday, Nov. 20 on ABC.
