Goldberg nearly took a tumble while making her way to the Hot Topics table.

Whoopi Goldberg nearly took a little time to enjoy the view of The View’s stage floor after she tripped while walking out to start the show on Monday morning.

The 69-year-old took a slight tumble at the top of the live show, as she followed the rest of her cohosts out to the Hot Topics table and lost her footing in the process.

In the clip above, the Oscar-winning Ghost actress struts toward the table before her feet trip up beneath her, with no visible obstacles on the floor below — though, it should be noted, that the set of The View is no stranger to hosting demonic, unseen entities that have flown through the program’s airspace in the past.

Alyssa Farah Griffin laughed as she settled into her chair, while panelist Sunny Hostin later probed into the cause of the fall once every cohost was seated.

“I don’t know what I tripped over,” Goldberg said as she took her seat next to her colleagues. “It was crazy. I was like, skip, skip, skip, ah! I thought, oh, here I go. So, I’m steady on my feet now!”

Goldberg’s brush with potential chaos came two years after Joy Behar notably fell to the floor as she attempted to get into a swivel chair at the Hot Topics table in 2022 — an event that eventually led the show to replace the cohosts’ seats with fixed furniture instead of those that spin.

In September 2023, Behar — who regularly wages war with inanimate objects, from Siri and her apartment building’s elevator to shampoo bottles in the shower — recounted falling again in her kitchen.

“I fell when I was 20. I always fall, I’m a klutz,” Behar said at the time. “I fell the other day in my kitchen because the rubber of my shoe hit the floor, and I went flying. What does that have to do with age?”
