Though Gauff and Sera prefer to keep their relationship low-profile, the Grand Slam champion has occasionally shared insights into their bond. Recently, she revealed that they set a joint reading goal each year, with the challenge of reading 25 books in 2024.”I think I got like 18 or 20 books last year, somewhere between that. This year, the goal is 25. I’m pretty confident I’m not gonna get there… but you know, shoot for the sky.”
Gauff looks to regain form
While Gauff’s personal life is full of joy, her on-court performances have faced challenges. She recently suffered a disappointing loss in the Qatar Open’s round of 32, where she was defeated 6-2, 7-5 by Marta Kostyuk.

This setback followed an Australian Open quarterfinal loss to Paula Badosa, raising concerns about her early-season form.Following these defeats, legendary coach Rick Macci shared his thoughts on how Gauff can bounce back from her struggles:”For Coco to be the best she can be, going into the lab and receiving a science-based blueprint can expedite the learning curve and bulletproof her career as she is going to correct the REAL origin of the problem, not a symptom, and know exactly how to flip the script.”Now preparing for the Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Championships, where she is the third seed, Gauff will be determined to regain her winning momentum and put these recent losses behind her. With a strong mindset and the support of those closest to her, she remains a formidable contender in the 2024 season.
