Taylor Swift was shocked by the British summertime weather as she kicked off the UK leg of her Eras Tour.

The star is set to spend time in the Cotswolds, Lake District, and London an insider said: “She wants a place to unwind away from the tour and the countryside is her happy place. Taylor loves dressing up in sequins on stage but is most at home in muddy boots in the fresh air.”

Swifties have been speculating whether the singer will pay a trip to the Lake District – which is a four-hour drive from her Cotswolds bolthole and only an hour and a half away from Liverpool – in homage to her track The Lakes, which featured on her 2020 album Folklore.
