Taylor Swift might be staying away from the spotlight as she spends quality time with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs. However, this has not stopped the “Fortnight” singer from achieving another international career milestone.

Swift was the recipient of some exciting news on Monday. Official Charts revealed the extent of her domination of the best-selling vinyl records charts in the United Kingdom over the past decade.

Official Charts, a UK-based company, compiles the various record charts in the United Kingdom, Ireland and France. It has been providing key data on the music industry, among other things, since 1952. It released the list of the top 40 vinyl albums based on sales to mark 10 years since the launch of the official vinyl albums and vinyl singles charts in the UK. The release date also comes days before the annual Record Store Day.

“Taylor Swift ( @taylorswift13 ) places EIGHT albums on the list of the Official best-selling new vinyl releases of the last 10 years ” Official Charts posted on X.

According to the announcement on Official Charts’ website, Swift’s 2022 LP “Midnights” topped the list with 130,000 vinyl copies sold. Swift also grabbed the second spot with her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” which has sold 115,000 vinyl copies since its release in 2024.

Six other albums from the “Eras Tour” headliner were also part of the top 40: “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” (4), “folklore” (11), “Lover” (24), “evermore” (25), “Lover (Live From Paris)” (30) and “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” (37).

The 35-year-old outsold other artists, such as Harry Styles, David Bowie, Billie Eilish and Adele. All four, however, have multiple albums on the top 40.

This speaks volumes not only of Swift’s immense popularity, but also of her ability to “use the vinyl boom not just as a promotional tool” and “as a way to deepen fan connection.”

For now, Swifties are patiently anticipating Swift’s next album release, whether it is one of the two remaining albums she has yet to release Taylor’s Versions of or one of all new material. Previous reports have indicated she has been making music ahead of a potential album release near the end of 2025. Nothing has been confirmed, though.
