Sources claim that Ben Affleck is currently at the mercy of Jennifer Lopez and that he can’t risk getting into her bad books since there was no prenup signed between the two prior to filing divorce.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck continue to make headlines even after filing for divorce. Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben after two years of marriage last month. The couple has since then left the fans scratching their heads with their appearances together post the divorce filing. Even after legally filing for separation, the ex-couple was seen together closing up and kissing in public. This made fans wonder if they were considering reconciling. However, recently sources claimed that Ben is reportedly feeling the pressure after his breakup with his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez.

Earlier it was reported that there was no prenuptial agreement signed between the couple. Now sources claim that this has been creating problems for Ben and that JLo is dominating him and making him dance to her tunes

The On The Floor singer filed for divorce from Affleck without any legal protection and this could soon create problems for the former couple, sources claim. It is known by now that the ex-couple did not have any prenuptial agreement or attorney when she filed for the divorce.

A source told OK! Magazine, “Because there’s no prenup, the divorce, and how smoothly it goes, is going to depend on them playing nice. Which means Ben’s got no choice but to try and be as civilized with J. Lo as possible.”

The source went on to claim that Affleck is basically at the mercy of Lopez currently and he will have to “behave the way she wants.” If not, “she’ll sink her fangs in and make it all that much more miserable.”

The source further explained that the pressure to behave a certain way is actually restricting the actor from “having fun” since “he can’t risk p***ing J.Lo off”. The source also revealed that one of Affleck’s biggest complaints from the marriage was “how controlling she was, so you can just imagine how upsetting it is for him that she’s essentially still controlling him.” The source also said that this is the “last thing he needs” and that he is keen to get done with the divorce so “get out there and start having fun again.”

The source went on to reveal that Affleck is currently holding himself back because of the divorce even when so many women are approaching him post the divorce filing. The source revealed, “He’s got so many hot women blowing up his phone but he’s gun shy because he can’t risk upsetting J.Lo. He’s fully aware it’s just playing into her hands, but what choice does he have right now.”

The source indicated that the singer could decide to “drag” the process of divorce if Affleck’s actions “trigger her.” This will leave Ben in a “pretty trapped” situation.

For the uninitiated, Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck on August 20. The move came after the couple spent the summer apart from each other. The two did not even celebrate special occasions together like the Fourth of July holiday, J.Lo’s 55th birthday or their second anniversary. The singer cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for divorce, according to the divorce documents.
