Samantha McAfee reacts to her husband Pat McAfee’s big announcement with Travis and Jason Kelce.

Pat McAfee is possibly the busiest sports broadcaster in the country. Not only does he host his eponymous “The Pat McAfee Show” on ESPN throughout the week, he leads the network’s “College GameDay coverage on Saturdays.

During McAfee’s transition from being an All-Pro punter to TV analyst, he had his No. 1 fan by his side, Samantha McAfee. The couple married in 2020 before welcoming a daughter, Mackenzie Lynn, in May 2023.

McAfee, however, is joining yet another show this week, which caught his wife’s attention. Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason Kelce, announced on Oct. 15 that the retired punter will guest star on the brothers’ upcoming “New Heights” podcast episode.

McAfee’s wife was one of the first people to comment on the Instagram announcement. She took a page from her husband’s book and wrote, “Hell yeah brother .”

Travis and Jason dubbed his appearance, “THE PAT MCAFEE EPISODE,” so listeners can expect the 37-year-old to be heavily featured when the new episode drops on Wednesday.

McAfee’s wife, who’s been going through a rough time lately, is doing her best to focus on the positive. After opening up about the recent loss of her father, Samantha shared how grateful she is for her husband and their daughter on Instagram.

She wrote in part, “I love these humans of mine, they have saved my life in so many ways. Patrick & Mackenzie, you are the greatest reason to wake up everyday and be the best version of myself. Every day is a bit more special simply because of how lucky I am to get a life with you two. .”
