Latest News: Ben Affleck Spotted on Set of New Movie as His Divorce from Jennifer Lopez Continues to Be Finalized … Check In

Affleck was seen mingling with crew members on the set of an upcoming movie, nearly two months after Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from him

On Tuesday, Oct. 15, Affleck, 52, was seen spending time on the set of a movie in Los Angeles, more than two months after Lopez, 55, filed for divorce from the actor on Aug. 20.

Affleck, a two-time Academy Award winner, was seen stepping out of a car with an iced coffee in hand as he arrived on the film’s set. Later in the day, he was also seen smiling while standing with a number of crew members on set.

Affleck is currently working on a number of projects, including many that he oversees as a producer through Artists Equity, the production company he co-owns with longtime friend and collaborator Matt Damon. He was last seen on set for a film on Oct. 9, and completed filming for an upcoming sequel to his 2016 action film The Accountant earlier this year. As an actor, he is currently involved in two more upcoming movies, including RIP, which costars Damon, 54.

Affleck last directed a movie with 2023’s Air, which he also costarred in with Damon.

Days before Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in August, a source told PEOPLE that the Good Will Hunting Star “thrives when he’s busy and he’s been working nonstop.”

The pair’s divorce appears to continue amicably; after Affleck and Lopez got together with each of their children in Los Angeles for lunch in September, a source told PEOPLE they “are still moving forward with the divorce” and “working out financial details amicably.”

Affleck shares three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12. Lopez shares her 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

As a source close to Lopez told PEOPLE following her and Affleck’s September lunch outing with their kids, she and Affleck “want to show the kids that things are amicable” even as their divorce continues.

Affleck last appeared on the big screen in Air, but he made an uncredited cameo in 2023’s The Flash in his final appearance as Batman. He also appeared in Lopez’s February film This Is Me … Now: A Love Story, which accompanied her album of the same name.
