GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (WFRV) – The annual Green Bay Charity Softball Game is returning once again and this year, not only will it kick off the Memorial Day holiday weekend, but it will also be hosted by Packers starting quarterback .

The Green Bay charity Softball Game has been a staple for Packers fans during the offseason for many years with Jordan Love now taking over as host from Donald Driver who announced his retirement from the event last year.

While announcing his retirement following last year’s charity softball game, Donald Driver said he’s handing the torch over to Love and that “it’s time for the young guys to battle it out on the field so I can just smile and kiss babies!”

For the new host of the event, Jordan Love says, “I am excited to host the Green Bay Charity Softball Game for its 25th Anniversary. “I had a blast last year hosting the game and on May 23rd we are going to take the game to another level for Friday Night Lights!”

This year’s charity softball game is scheduled for Friday, May 23, at 7:05 p.m. at the Neuroscience Group Field with the event planning to raise money for Love’s Hands of 10ve Foundation.

The schedule of activities taking place during the event is as follows:

4:00 p.m. – Parking lot opens

5:00 p.m. – Stadium gates open

6:00 p.m. – Home Run Derby

7:05 p.m. – Softball game starts

Fans will want to arrive early as there will also be a special tailgate in front of the stadium that will feature activities including Cousins Subs food, a Network Health booth, and a free Donald Driver jersey raffle.

Tickets to this year’s Green Bay Charity Softball Game are set to go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 21.

Available ticket options will include $300 for a limited number of patio tables that seat four people, $80 for a premium box seat, $55 for a standard box seat, $35 for a reserved bleacher seat, and $15 for a general admission grass seat.

This year there will also be 20 available exclusive VIP group photo experiences with Jordan Love that will include two box seat tickets, a photo for two with Jordan Love, and a $1,000 donation to the Hands of 10ve Foundation.

The tickets mentioned, along with other special ticket options are available to purchase through the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers’ website or in person at the Timber Rattlers Box Office.
