King Charles receives huge support from a key royal in Queen Camilla’s absence

King Charles received huge support from a key royal figure in Queen Camilla’s absence.

The monarch was supported by her sister Princess Anne during the annual Festival of Remembrance event, which took place last night at the Royal Albert Hall.

In a photo released by the royal family, it can be seen that the King was accompanied by Princess Royal, Prince William, Kate Middleton and other esteemed members of the royal family.

For the unversed, the Queen is ill with a chest infection and as per her doctors’ advice, she decided to skip the royal event in order to quickly recover and to avoid spreading the viral.

As per a statement released by Buckingham Palace, “Following doctors’ guidance to ensure a full recovery from a seasonal chest infection, and to protect others from any potential risk, Her Majesty will not attend this weekend’s Remembrance events.”

“While this is a source of great disappointment to The Queen, she will mark the occasion privately at home and hopes to return to public duties early next week.”

To provide comfort and relief to the cancer-stricken King Charles, his sister Anne took on a key role at the event, where the royal family mourned the loss of lives in conflict.
