Since they stepped down as working members of the Royal Family in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been working hard to pave the way with their own brand while enjoying their more secluded family life in California.

But it looks as though the pressure could be mounting for the couple with tension building after their exclusive Spotify deal ended, Harry facing backlash for his recognition award and reported concerns in the future of their Netflix partnership.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have always put on a united front and weathered lots of storms, with their Netflix series, public appearances and joint involvement in the Invictus Games proving just that.

But it looks as though their hard work to make it on their own could be taking a toll, as a source claimed that for the first time in a long time the couple are not working together with a “growing rift” claimed to be building between the pair.

This has been such a tough few months for Meghan and Harry and the pressure they are under is a lot to handle, they feel they are constantly under attack. When they first left the royals, they had so much support and that support seems to be dwindling over time and they’re facing more and more criticism,” a source claimed.

“Harry has been really hurt by the backlash over his award nomination and Meghan is still reeling over the Spotify axe as she loved doing that podcast and she knows people want her to fail with her next project so there’s quite a lot of tension in the house at the moment.
