Prince William had a hilarious message from Prince George for a star of Clarkson’s Farm at his latest royal outing

The Prince of Wales and Duke of Cornwall was announced as the new patron of We Are Farming Minds, a charity working to support the mental health of farmers in the rural county of Herefordshire

On March 26, the Prince of Wales, 42, traveled to Bristol, England to attend an event for 60 members of the Duchy of Cornwall’s next generation of farming tenants. The Duchy of Cornwall is the British royal family’s historic estate designed to provide income for the heir to the throne, and it was announced there that William is the new patron of We Are Farming Minds, a charity working to smash stigmas around mental health in the farming community.

According to Hello! magazine, Prince William met Kaleb Cooper from the show Clarkson’s Farm, and he was asked to relay a message from his eldest

You’ve got George watching now,” the Prince of Wales told Cooper. “I said to him, ‘What shall I say if I meet Kaleb?’ He said, ‘Tell Kaleb to mind his language.’ ”

Cooper admitted, according to the outlet, “I did get told off for swearing too much…I tried to stop, but at the same time, it’s awesome. That’s what I like about the whole show…I’ve had so many people thank me, going, ‘You brought the family together.’ It’s a great feeling.”
Clarkson’s Farm, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2021, follows Jeremy Clarkson’s highs and lows of running a large farm in the Cotswolds. Cooper, a more experienced farmer, is a popular personality in the docuseries and is not afraid to argue with his boss about how things should be run.

He also wasn’t the only series star who met William on Wednesday, as the show’s farming consultant Charlie Ireland also attended the event.

Prince William became the Duke of Cornwall upon his father King Charles’ accession to the throne in September 2022 and inherited control of the duchy’s $1 billion estate along with it.

The Duchy of Cornwall spans about 130,000 acres across 23 counties in England and Wales, encompassing farmland, property and commercial businesses — making Prince William a royal landlord.

The Prince of Wales is committed to promoting positive mental health across the farming community, and the Duchy of Cornwall launched a new strategy in 2023 with the goal of becoming the leading provider of mental health support for its tenants. Farming can be a lonely profession with intense pressure, and William’s official patronage of We Are Farming Minds, an existing partner in the plan, enforces his support for this sector.

We Are Farming Minds is a charity working to support the mental health of farmers in rural communities in the county of Herefordshire, which is on the border of England and Wales. All Duchy farming tenants have full access to its services, including counseling, a 24/7 support line, trainings, social events and more to raise awareness of the importance of mental health.

Prince William and Princess Kate visited the charity’s founders Sam and Emily Stables during a trip to Herefordshire in September 2023, and William reunited with Sam at the Wednesday event when they both spoke at a fireside chat. The Stables are Duchy tenants and created We Are Farming Minds after identifying a lack of support for mental health in the farming community.

The fireside chat Sam and William spoke at was all about the unique context of mental health within the farming community and the importance of the subject.

From there, the Prince of Wales (a.k.a. Duke of Cornwall) watched a team building exercise — tug of war! — and met with young farmers making up the next generation.
