The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle never ceased to make it to the headlines ever since they got married in 2018. And now, the buzz is that due to the couple’s “professional separation”– which means they aren’t working together anymore– and so, they are not often seen together in public. Harry and Meghan are now working on separate projects, and this has now sparked rumours of trouble in their paradise.

While Harry is working on the Invictus Games’ second edition in Canada, Meghan is preparing for the American Riviera Orchard’s launch in 2025, as per reports.

In 2020, the couple decided to leave their royal duties in the UK and have an independent life in the US. But now, the buzz is that while Harry is willing to meet his family and reconcile with them, Meghan seems to be reluctant to go back to the UK. Royal author Omid Scobie suggests in his book ‘Endgame’ that Meghan Markle “never wants to step foot in England again” as she “never really felt at home” when she was living there after marrying Harry. The last time the Sussex couple travelled to the UK together was in 2022 for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. All of this has added more fuel to the rumours about trouble in Meghan and Harry’s marriage. Meanwhile, the couple has either dismissed or refrained from commenting about it.

While rumours are rife about Harry and Meghan having troubles in their marital life which possibly led to their “professional separation”, PR expert Ed Coram-James has a different opinion about it. Commenting about it, Coram-James told The Mirror, “Meghan and Harry’s brand has suffered irreparable damage. The continuous media criticism, fuelled by their flawed PR strategies, has made joint branding no longer feasible.” And so, Harry is now working on rebuilding his public image.

For the unversed, Harry and Meghan got married in 2018 and just two years later the couple decided to step back from their royal duties and move to the US to have a more independent life. Their decision to leave their royal duties came as a big blow to the UK’s royal family back then. Harry and Meghan also gave some explosive interviews about their strained equations with the royal family which did not go well with the public. Not just this, Harry also released his autobiography ‘Spare’ wherein he opened up about his not-so-good relationship with his family members. However, all of this backfired for the Sussex couples and caused some major damage to their public image.

While Harry and Meghan seem to be working separately, the buzz is that Meghan and their children will join Harry for the 2025 Invictus Games in Canada.
