Kim Porter and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs had a turbulent romance, with the music mogul cheating on the model throughout their relationship – and she admitted she lost respect for him

Kim Porter has revealed that she lost respect for Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs long before they ended their relationship. The couple had a tumultuous love affair, dating intermittently throughout the ’90s before finally parting ways in 2007.

Both Kim and Diddy were candid about the rapper’s unfaithfulness during their time together. Combs shattered the trust when he impregnated another woman while still with Kim.

She spoke out about the betrayal after their breakup, confessing that she discovered the infidelity before Diddy confessed.

Speaking to Essence in 2007, Kim said, “He told me that he may have gotten himself into a situation and he may have fathered another child outside the relationship and I said, ‘Really? Well, I already knew. I’m glad you decided to be a man’.”

Kim remembered telling Diddy, “I can’t even respect you right now.” She also confessed that she stopped paying attention to what the Bad Boy Records founder had to say once the respect was gone.

While the model was upset about the infidelity, she admitted things might have been different if she had found out about it from Diddy himself. “I would have preferred to find out from him because that’s a man,” she explained.

Kim expressed that there was a “right and a wrong way to handle it,” and confessed she would have comprehended the situation if Combs had been truthful from the beginning. Combs also participated in the interview with Essence, stating his intention to change, “This is the most monogamous I’ve ever been in my life…that’s all I’m trying to say,” he clarified.

Diddy had an affair with Sarah Chapman, and they welcomed their daughter Chance Chapman in 2006. The unfaithfulness occurred when Kim was expecting her and Diddy’s twin daughters, D’Lila Star and Jessie James.

Despite the turmoil, Kim and Diddy maintained their friendship until her passing in 2018. The Mirror US has reached out to Combs’ representatives for a statement.
