Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been accused of ‘physically abusing women’ as well as ‘threatening to kill’ his staff as prosecutors claim he ‘manipulated, coerced, and extorted women’
The Southern District of New York prosecutors have leveled fresh allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs, as per a letter to Judge Arun Subramanian. In it, they claim the music tycoon, 55, currently in custody at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center without bail, directed physical aggression not only towards employees but also within his romantic relations.
As Diddy faces a May 2025 trial on charges including sex trafficking and racketeering, his not guilty plea stands firm amid denials of any misconduct.
Accusations are swirling around ‘Diddy’ for purported “witness tampering and violent actions,” with prosecutors urging the judge to dismiss bail. The next hearing to contemplate Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ bail application is imminent as he counts down the days until his day in court.

Despite efforts by his legal team to secure his release through a $50 million bail bond, the opposition from prosecutors remains staunch, highlighting alleged witness interference and illicit communication methods employed during his time behind bars. To date, three attempts to grant Diddy bail have failed since his apprehension in September.
A ruling on his bail by Subramanian is anticipated to arrive sometime this week, reports the Mirror US. If granted freedom, the star’s legal representatives assure that he would reside in a three-bedroom apartment on the Upper East Side, be surveilled by three security agents, and forfeit any connection to the internet.
However, the backdrop to all this includes accusations from prosecutors about the Bad Boy Records founder’s history of violence towards intimate partners.
Often behind closed doors, the defendant engaged in acts of violence against women, including throwing them to the ground, dragging them by their hair, kicking, shoving, punching, and slapping them,” the court papers revealed to the Mirror explained. The document added: “He manipulated, coerced, and extorted women, including by plying them with drugs, threatening to withhold financial support, and threatening to disseminate sex tapes that the defendant had made of their sexual encounters. He [intimidated] women, including by displaying firearms, threatening them, showing up at their homes unannounced, and attempting to beat down the door – on one occasion with a hammer.”
The prosecution also highlighted instances where Diddy’s alleged abuse extended to his staff, with reports stating they “have described the defendant threatening to kill them, throwing objects at them, and being struck, punched, and shoved by the defendant, and seeing him do the same to others.”
In another part of the correspondence, US Attorney Damian Williams along with his legal team pointed out to Diddy’s pattern of “history of obstructive conduct” in their response to his bail request.
“The defendant’s history of obstructive conduct is part and parcel to his decades-long pattern of violence, which must be considered along with his obstructive conduct to fully assess his dangerousness under the Bail Reform Act,” Williams penned. “A holistic view of his obstructive and violent conduct-conduct that is still happening presently-makes clear that there is no way to rebut the applicable presumption of detention in this case.”
