Earlier this month, record executive Suge Knight claimed that Diddy is responsible for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s high-profile divorce. Lopez had filed for divorce from Ben after two years of marriage, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’.

Jennifer Lopez recently confessed to having the hardest year of her life following her split from husband Ben Affleck. But looks like the failed marriage with Ben is only just one of her many many troubles as her ex-husband has now made a bombshell claim and it has a Diddy connection. Actor Ojani Noa, who was briefly married to JLo from 1997-1998, has now blamed Diddy for their divorce. This comes days after Suge Knight alleged JLo’s marriage with Ben failed due to her connection with the embattled rapper.

During a recent episode of the Spanish-language talk show Despierta América, Ojani Noa alleged that “part of that divorce was Diddy’s fault.”

He said that their married life began to crumble after Lopez began working closely with Diddy in New York on her debut album, At that time, Noa was working at Lopez’s Pasadena restaurant Madre’s. “There, in that distance, in that separation, was where the deception started,” he said.

He added, “When Sony came and paid her the millions she got, there was Puffy [Combs], who was going to be one of the producers of several tracks on the first album, On The 6.”

Notably, shortly after her divorce from Noa, Lopez began dating Diddy in 1999. They dated for two years, before parting ways in 2001.

In his podcast Collect Call with Suge Knight, he hinted that Lopez allegedly knew that Diddy was involved in a 2001 nightclub shooting, but both Lopez and Diddy made rapper Shyne take the fall, who was then convicted, imprisoned, and later deported. He claimed that Lopez had confessed the same to the police, who allegedly showed the proof of his wife’s dark past to Ben, which ultimately led to the downfall of their marriage.

He said, “They [the FBI] go raid Puffy’s house, and they get all these videos of JLo doing this and JLo doing that,” Knight said in the podcast. “And they know the fact that JLo lied and said that the gun was Shyne’s or whatever and sent that man to prison, destroyed his life, and she knew it was Puffy’s.”

Suggesting that the FBI showed the tapes to Ben in which Lopez admits to knowing, he added, “I’m quite sure they said, ‘We want to show you some things about your wife.’”

Diddy’s arrest
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was arrested and indicted on charges of federal racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. In addition to this, the rapper has also been slapped with multiple lawsuits with over 100 accusers coming forward to accuse him of various charges of sexual assault. The rapper has pleaded not guilty and will go for trial on May 5, 2025. He remains in jail at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center as his lawyers have failed to secure him a pre-trial bail.
