Unbelievable: Hugh Jackman is dealt another blow amid rumours an affair ended his marriage… See More
Hugh Jackman has been dealt a fresh blow amid speculation about his alleged affair with Sutton Foster.
The Australian actor, 56, revealed scammers are using fake Telegram accounts pretending to be him.
He shared photos of the fraudulent social media messaging accounts to his Instagram page on Monday and placed a red x symbol on the posts.
One page had Hugh’s name alongside the caption: ‘This is my only private Telegram account… beware.’
The other one also featured his name and picture with the words: ‘I love my fans so much.’
It comes after reports emerged that Hugh’s close relationship with Broadway star Sutton, 49, contributed to the end of his long-term marriage to Deborra-Lee Furness.
Hugh and Sutton took on the roles of Harold Hill and Marian Paroo in The Music Man, which ran from February 2022 to January 2023 at the Winter Garden Theatre in Manhattan.
‘Sutton and Hugh’s relationship is the reason Hugh and Deb [separated],’ a source close to Foster told Us Weekly.
The pair have already attended public events together, looking smitten with one another at the opening night of their show The Music Man on Broadway in February 2022.
According to reports, their affair during the show was ‘Broadway’s worst-kept secret’ and now it’s claimed the ‘really happy’ pair are keen to have their relationship out in the open.
It comes after sources revealed to DailyMail.com that Furness had concerns about the pair teaming up for the Broadway production in 2022 – a year before Jackman announced the end of their 27-year marriage.
Deborra-Lee had her suspicions when Hugh started working with Sutton,’ a source previously said. ‘Their relationship is not a secret to her.’
Furness shares adopted children Oscar, 24, and Ava, 19, with her ex.
