Representative Thomas Massie Escalates Epstein File Demands, Names 14 Figures on House Floor

In a dramatic speech on the House floor, U.S. Representative Thomas Massie (R-KY) called for the immediate federal investigation and prosecution of 14 high-profile individuals he identified as “co-conspirators” linked to the late disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking ring. Taking advantage of the legal protections afforded to members of Congress speaking during floor debate, Massie publicly read the names of the prominent figures—including former royals, corporate executives, and celebrity figures—demanding that the Department of Justice hold them accountable.

Among those singled out by the Kentucky lawmaker were high-profile figures such as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor (formerly Prince Andrew), retail billionaire Les Wexner, hedge fund founder Leon Black, former Barclays chief Jes Staley, magician David Copperfield, and corporate executives Tom Pritzker and Glenn Dubin. Massie also cited long-time associates and deceased figures linked to the network, including former modeling agency heads Jean-Luc Brunel and Daniel Siad, alongside Epstein’s long-time executive assistant Lesley Groff.

The move marks a significant escalation in Massie’s ongoing clash with federal law enforcement over the handling of millions of investigative records. Alongside a bipartisan coalition that includes Representative Ro Khanna (D-CA), Massie launched a discharge petition to force a full House vote on the Epstein Files Transparency Act II. The proposed legislation aims to bypass committee bottlenecks and force the Justice Department to unredact crucial documents that were withheld from previous public record disclosures.

Massie sharply criticized the Department of Justice for declaring its document release process complete earlier this year, pointing out that significant portions of the 3.5 million released pages remain heavily redacted or shielded under federal privilege. “Perhaps hearing these names will shame the Department of Justice into delivering justice,” Massie stated, asserting that federal prosecutors have failed to adequately pursue key figures documented within internal FBI files and witness statements.

While Massie’s accusations drew instant national attention, legal experts note that his public recitation of the list on the House floor does not constitute criminal charges or legal findings of guilt. Appearing in investigative files or having past associations with Epstein does not establish criminal liability, and representatives for several individuals named have previously denied any wrongdoing or criminal involvement. Nevertheless, Massie and his co-sponsors insist the discharge petition—which requires 218 signatures to force a vote—is essential to provide survivors with closure and ensure full government accountability.
