Meghan and Harry have been seen at separate events in recent days, with one Royal expert claiming the appearances show “just how far their star has fallen”

The recent separate appearances of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are indicative of “just how far their star has fallen”, a Royal expert has suggested.

Prince Harry was seen participating in a sketch where he seemingly gets a tattoo from American music sensation Jelly Roll, as part of the promotional activities for the upcoming Invictus Games in Canada. The sketch was filmed at East Side Ink, a New York tattoo parlour where the Duke was spotted a few weeks ago.

In the sketch, the country singer and rapper humorously suggests that Harry has consented to his first tattoo.

On the other hand, Meghan was seen supporting her business friends at a new haircare product launch in California, without Harry. The Duchess was seen celebrating the launch of Highbrow Hippie’s new haircare line, a brand she has invested in and is co-founded by her friend, Kadi Lee.

Charlotte Griffiths, the Mail on Sunday’s editor at large, expressed surprise at the Duchess’s appearance at the event during her discussion on Palace Confidential, stating “it’s not a good sign”. She commented: “That really shocked me because I thought, this is a woman who, at least in her own mind and for quite a long time, was an A-list global worldwide celebrity and here she was at a hair product launch.”, reports Aberdeen Live.

She added: “The event was hosted by one of her friends so perhaps she was just being nice to her friend, but I still thought why aren’t they together especially at the Invictus event because I know that she’s really supportive of Invictus and it’s just a bit beneath her to be honest, sorry to be rude.

This just shows how far their star has fallen though, he’s getting a tattoo on telly and she’s at a hair care launch. I mean it’s not a good sign.”

Jelly Roll, who has been announced as the first headliner at the closing ceremony of the event next year, told Harry: “We are giving you a tattoo about the Invictus Games.”

Harry then said he wanted to ask Jelly Roll “to do” the games, not to tattoo him, to which the singer said he would only play the games if Harry let him give him his first tattoo.

Jelly Roll then suggested he tattooed Harry’s neck instead, which he did, and told him “I’ll see you in Vancouver! “.

However, some watchers and Royal fans were not impressed with Harry’s choice of words and took to social media to express their views.

One user shared the video on their profile on X and said: “How is this PR stunt/ Ad with Harold swearing and getting a fake tattoo helping the veterans? It’s cringe.”
