Sofía Vergara is living the single life — kind of. The Modern Family star hinted at her current relationship status amid months of dating orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman following her divorce from Joe Manganiello, and it appears not everything is cut and dry.

When speaking to Us Weekly in a new interview published Thursday (October 24), Vergara shared that she “totally” thinks New York City is one of the best places for romance.

Actually, I was talking yesterday about it because now I’m single,” she said, before quickly adding, “kind of single.”

The Griselda actress didn’t share any additional details about where she stands with Saliman, however if she really is on the market again, she might have luck finding her next beau in NYC.

“There’s a more diverse group of people in New York than in L.A. because most of the people are in the entertainment business,” she said, adding that the city holds “people from all over the world — architects, writers, actors, businesspeople.”
