Exclusive: Inside Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s “Special” Thanksgiving Together…..Read More
This year, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce gave thanks with both of their families.
The pop star and the NFL player not only spent Thanksgiving together, but also celebrated the day with each of their families in tow. According to a source for People, Swift’s family invited the Kelces to spend time with them in Nashville ahead of Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs game against the Las Vegas Raiders on November 29.
Taylor and Travis had a great Thanksgiving together with their families,” the source told the outlet. “It’s the first Thanksgiving they celebrated together.”
Those confirmed to be in attendance include Swift’s parents, Scott and Andrea, Kelce’s older brother, Jason, Kelce’s sister-in-law, Kylie, and Jason and Kylie’s three kids.
“Taylor and her family were excited to host the Kelces this year,” the insider said. “Jason was there with his family and kids, too. It was very festive and special.”
After the holiday, Kelce traveled from Nashville to Kansas City. Swift also followed her beau to Arrowhead Stadium, where she arrived at his game in coordinating red-and-black outfits with Kelce’s mother, Donna.
Donna previously teased her family’s Thanksgiving plans during an appearance on Today last month. At the time, she explained that her family had low-key expectations for the holiday—and that she wasn’t sure that Swift could join them.
“I am going to be at a football game. Travis is playing the day after Thanksgiving. You know, football is always the holiday and football’s family,” Donna said. “I do not think [a dinner] is planned. I think we’re just gonna be at the football game.”
As for a potential Swift dinner table cameo, she added, “I don’t think so. She’s kind of busy right now, she still has her tour to do.
