Just In: Prince Harry ‘will make bold move’ to fulfil King Charles’ special wish…. See More
Prince Harry is ready to make big step in order to make cancer-stricken father happy
King Charles is seemingly softening his stance towards ‘darling boy’ Prince Harry following his cancer diagnosis earlier this year.
The monarch, who is set to mark his 76th birthday in November, has expressed his heartfelt wish for his younger son, and it appears that the Duke of Sussex is willing to oblige.
Despite his grievances, Charles “wants nothing more than peace to be restored in his family,” insiders told the Irish Star.
“He wants to draw a line under their past feuds and for Prince William and Prince Harry to get along – and what better timing than his birthday to bring them together,” the source said.
The King now “wants nothing more than to make memories with his wife, sons and grandchildren. This is what he will treasure the most – especially as his milestone birthday approaches.”
The last time, Harry met with his cancer-stricken father was in February after the Duke received a personal phone call about the diagnosis. Charles’ younger son made a dash to the UK for a brief 45-minute meeting.
However, now a source revealed to Closer that it’s “eating away at Harry that he hasn’t seen his father since just after he announced his cancer diagnosis in February.”
The royal family traditionally gathers at the Scottish palace, Balmoral, and there has been no invitation issued to the Sussexes yet. However, while it is uncertain if a reunion is on the horizon, the insider shared that Prince Harry is willing to take a bold step for his father.
“As the King stayed in Scotland while Harry was in London recently, a reunion is looking more unlikely, and Harry knows he must do something bold to make it right,” the source said.
