Just In: Taylor Swift’s $5 Million Gesture Turns Heads After Chiefs Game….Read More
Taylor Swift returned to Arrowhead Stadium to watch the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the New Orleans Saints 26-13 on “Monday Night Football” in Week
The pop star watched as her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, recorded a season-high nine catches for 70 yards. Kelce also took part in a couple of trick plays, throwing a surprise lateral pass to Samaje Perine for a first down and handing off to Xavier Worthy for a touchdown. After the game, Swift and Kelce celebrated the team’s victory with friends and family.
Unfortunately, the “Blank Space” singer won’t be able to attend another Chiefs matchup for quite some time. The final leg of her “Eras Tour” kicks off in Miami on Oct. 18, where she has three consecutive nights of performances.
However, all of Florida is in a state of emergency as Hurricane Milton approaches. The western coast, in particular Tampa Bay, is predicted to get hit as early as this evening. With parts of Florida still devastated from Hurricane Helene, Swift made a seven-figure donation to Feeding America on Oct. 9.
Feeding America revealed that the 34-year-old singer donated $5 million to relief efforts for both storms.
The foundation posted on Instagram: “Thank you, @taylorswift for standing with us in the movement to end hunger and helping communities in need in the wake of #HurricaneHelene and #HurricaneMilton.
“Together, we can make a real impact in supporting families as they navigate the challenges ahead. Join Taylor if you’re able by donating at the link in our bio.”
While fans applauded the singer’s incredible gesture, they were not surprised by it. The billionaire musician quietly donates to food banks in every city where her tour stops.
One fan commented on Instagram, “I have watched her for years be so generous to the world but when it directly affects you it hits so much harder i will never stop crying and i will never forget this thank you Taylor ❤️.”
Another person wrote, “This is why her fans stand with her through everything. She puts kindness and generosity into everything she does. .”
