King Charles and Prince William appeared to have “come ready for a fight” during a clandestine meeting with Prince Harry amid the Royal Family feud, according to reports.

Harry’s relationship with his brother and father has been fraught since he made several explosive allegations about the British Royal Family. Despite this, Harry has attempted to repair their relationship over time.

In his revealing memoir Spare, Harry recounts arranging a meeting with William and Charles at Frogmore Cottage after the funeral of his grandfather, Prince Philip.

He claimed that he was kept waiting for an extended period, and when Charles and William finally arrived, they didn’t seem pleased.

Harry stated that he tried to keep his “emotions in check” as he explained his perspective on the Royal Family feud. However, things quickly deteriorated, with Harry writing: “I’d vowed not to let this encounter devolve into another argument. But I quickly discovered that it wasn’t up to me.”

“Pa and Willy had their parts to play, and they’d come ready for a fight. Every time I ventured a new explanation, started a new line of thought, one or both of them would cut me off.”

Harry claimed that William, in particular, “didn’t want to hear anything” and alleged that his brother interrupted him multiple times, leading to a heated argument between the two brothers.

Charles concluded the heated discussion with a heart-wrenching appeal to his sons. Harry recalled: “It got so heated that Pa raised his hands. Enough! He stood between us, looking up at our flushed faces: Please, boys-don t make my final years a misery.”

Harry hasn’t seen his brother in years and last met with his father in February when the king was diagnosed with cancer. The Duke of Sussex was expected to reunite with his father during his brief return to the UK in May.

However, a representative for Harry issued a statement saying that wouldn’t be happening. It read: “It, unfortunately, will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full program. The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”
