Taylor Swift celebrated and reflected on her epic “Eras Tour.”
The superstar’s nearly two-year tour was recognized as the “tour of the century” during the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles on March 17.
In honor of its success, Swift thanked her fans for supporting her, as well as shared a never-before-seen performance from opening night.
“I really can’t tell you how much this means to me,” she said. “This is actually the two-year anniversary of the first show of the ‘Eras Tour’, so I’ve been doing a lot of processing since I’ve been off the road these last few months.
People often say that sometimes the greatest challenges in life end up being something you’re so proud of, or end up being the most gratifying feeling in the end, if you can rise to the occasion.”
It’s a three-and-a-half hour show, more shows than I’ve ever done on a tour, and it really was the most gratifying thing I’ve ever done. I think about that tour constantly.
I’m so proud of it,” she said. “The only reason I was able to take on those challenges, among others, the ambition of the production, the length of the show, the amount of shows, all the different countries we played, that’s all because the fans. To the fans, you made these songs for the last couple decades into what they became so that we could do a three-and-a-half-hour set list.”
She continued, “You had the passion and the generosity to care about traveling to see us on tour in all these places all over the world. It blows my mind, I’m never going to stop being grateful for it, and I appreciate this more than you know. Thank you so much for honoring this tour.”
She concluded by taking her Swifties back and sharing an exclusive performance from the first night of the tour two years ago.
The clip shows Swift in a burgundy dress, playing the guitar and performing “Mirrorball.”
The singer was up for 10 awards during the 2025 ceremony, including artist of the year and best collaboration.
Swift first announced her stadium tour in November 2022. Swift said at the time the shows would be “a journey through the musical eras of my career (past and present!).”
What came next was a concert experience that celebrated her 11 albums. Her first show was in Glendale, Arizona, on March 18, 2023, and she would go on to play 148 more shows across five continents and 50 cities.
The tour also broke record attendances, boosted economies and became the highest-grossing concert tour of all time. She had her final show on Dec. 8 in Vancouver.
To highlight the tour, Swift also released the “Eras Tour” concert film, which included acoustic songs and special surprises for Swifties.
