ROYAL FAMILY
News:This is Prince William and Kate Middleton’s car collection that surprises everyone: see more:

The British Royal Family enjoy a life that few of us could understand, as their position affords them privileges that many of us don’t have access to
That extends to how they travel, as the royals are able to fly around the world at their leisure. However, when it comes to getting around on the ground, it seems that Prince William and Kate Middleton have a more subdued approach.
Looking back at William’s first car, it’s a vehicle that many new drivers would have sat behind while getting used to life on the roads: a Volkswagen Golf. The Prince of Wales was spotted driving around in the car when he was trying to pass his driving test.
Since then William, along with Kate, has changed up the couple’s approach to cars. While not as flashy as some might think, it is still varied despite the couple being driven around by a chauffeur at times.
Nevertheless, William and Kate are never afraid to drive around themselves. After swapping in William’s Golf, the couple had a silver Audi A3 back in 2007. Around that time Kate gave her old VW to her younger brother, James Middleton.
The couple showed their love for German vehicles by purchasing Audis over the year. Around 2009 they had a grey Audi A5, and a few years after that they had a new Audi A7.
William isn’t afraid to drive around on two wheels either, as he arrived at a polo match at Coworth Park on a Ducati 1198S back in 2009.
After they were married and welcomed their first baby, Prince George, the couple opted for a Range Rover back in 2013. The Royal Family have a history with the car brand which goes back decades – as the late Queen had several Range Rovers and Land Rovers.
Fast forward a few years later and the Princess of Wales had an Electric Jaguar. She first drove the car when arriving at a charity dinner at Spring restaurant in London in October 2019 for a gala to support Action on Addiction. The royals seemed to love the car so much that they had an electric charging points set up in the Prince’s London home, Clarence House.
That same year Kate was spotted driving both Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in an Audi SUV. The trend of buying Audis continued in 2024 when Wiliam got behind the wheel of an electric Audi when driving away from London Clinic after his wife underwent abdominal surgery in January.
