With reproductive rights on the line, American women are doing whatever they can to take back power and control over their own bodies, even if that means going on ‘strike’ from men

The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg has always been open about her feelings about President-elect Donald Trump and his policies on the show, especially when it comes to reproductive rights.

It seems as though Whoopi is taking it one step further by making comments on the show that are in thinly-veiled support of the “4B” movement. The feminist movement, which originated in South Korea, has been a hot topic since Trump’s re-election. The tenants of the movement are: “no dating, no sex, no marriage, and no childbirth” with men.

The movement has gained traction in online spaces like TikTok since right-wing online troll Nick Fuentes tweeted: “Your body, my choice. Forever.”

The tweet heard around the world has sent American women in a tailspin of uncertainty about the future of reproductive healthcare, including access to abortion and birth control, now that every branch of government is controlled by Republicans.

With reproductive rights on the line, especially with Project 2025 looming and abortion bans popping up in more states, American women are doing whatever they can to take back power and control over their own bodies, even if that means going on “strike” from men.

Whoopi and her co-hosts addressed the “your body, my choice” tweet, along with the growing “anti-women” movement in the United States, live on the air. Sunny Hostin expressed disgust over Fuentes’ vile rhetoric, and the men who felt empowered to repeat and echo the terrifying statement, while Joy Behar chimed in about hearing that the Taliban was pleased that the States did not elect a woman to be the leader of the Free World.

Whoopi turned to the camera and addressed men directly, echoing language used by 4B movement supporters: “You didn’t get here by yourself, men. You can’t do this without us. And if we don’t let you, you don’t get any. It’s that simple.
