KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For Sunday afternoon’s matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, Chiefs players will take part in the NFL’s My Cause My Cleats initiative, wearing custom cleats to spread awareness for select non-profit organizations representing different causes.

My Cause My Cleats is in its ninth season as the NFL’s leading player campaign allowing players, coaches, and staff members to spotlight causes and nonprofits that they resonate with.

This season, over 1,800 players, coaches, staff and NFL Legends will participate in My Cause My Cleats to shed light on initiatives important to them including cancer awareness and prevention, health and disease awareness, social justice, youth empowerment, mental health and others.

The following players, along with others, will represent various charitable organizations during Sunday’s My Cause My Cleats game against the Indianapolis Colts

This year, fans will be more involved and informed on player causes than ever. In collaboration with Stand Together, a philanthropic community providing changemakers with the resources to transform lives and society, a brand-new database will be available to fans to elevate player storytelling and allow fans to access more information on player causes, donate, bid on custom cleats, and create their own AI-generated cleats.

In partnership with Rayze, a platform connecting donors, individuals, businesses and nonprofits founded by NFL Legend Carl Nassib, fans will be able to donate to player-specific 501(c)3 organizations they are supporting this year, with 100 percent of the proceeds going back to these foundations.

In addition, fans will be able to donate on select game-worn cleats on NFL Auction. In collaboration with Adobe, a custom cleat generator has been built using Adobe Firefly to allow fans to design their own AI-generated cleats inspired by causes they care about.
